Our newly-refurbished statue of St. Joseph will be blessed at the end of Mass on Sunday.

TODAY IS THE FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH
Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today we honor St. Joseph in his role as Head of the Holy Family. We ask his spiritual intercession for all His children. We pray especially for families, fathers and husbands.

"The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about marriage and the family." --Sr. Lucia, Fatima visionary

"We need the spiritual fatherhood of St. Joseph to help us protect marriage and the family. Marriage and the family have always been under attack, but in modern times, the threats have reached extraordinary heights. Many people no longer know what it means to be a man or a woman, let alone what constitutes a marriage and a family.
"....To combat and overcome Satan's deceptions, the Church needs St. Joseph. His example and protection are the only way out of the confusing times that we are in. Who else can we turn to who can help us understand what marriage and the family are all about if not to the Head of the Holy Family and the Terror of Demons?" --Fr. Don Calloway,   Consecration to St. Joseph

Mass this Saturday is open to Amici Christi members only.
Sadly, due to Covid restrictions we cannot accommodate additional people.

FIGHTING BACK

USING SPIRITUAL WEAPONS
AGAINST  ATTACKS ON OUR SPIRIT

We are all suffering anxiety and confusion from the events happening around us. And there are MANY voices speaking to us. Some of them are good, but some of them are designed to confuse us and inspire fear.  Cover these voices with your “JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU,” and ask Him to help you filter the lies from the TRUTH.

The Enemy uses our anxiety to attack us physically, emotionally and spiritually. Human means work for human things; but SPIRITUAL MEANS must be used for those things that are a direct attack on the spirit, and that are born of the Enemy’s hatred for our souls. Much of the fear and anxiety that we experience today is eating away at our spirit, our soul.

Ask Jesus to bring His FAITH AND TRUST into your heart and into the hearts of His children who are experiencing FEAR.

If you are not already doing so, please use HIS SACRAMENTALS – Holy Water, Blessed Salt, Blessed Oil, Blessed Candles.  Faith in Jesus, combined with use of Sacramentals, are POWERFUL weapons against the Enemy’s attacks.

Finally, here are two prayers we recommend for spiritual protection that can be used daily, or as many times a day as you experience anxiety. One invokes the tremendous POWER OF JESUS’ HOLY CROSS; the other calls on the PEACE OF HIS MOTHER. Use them like a spiritual vaccine to fight against the corrosiveness of fear.

PRAYER OF THE HOLY CROSS

“By the Sign of the Holy Cross, (make a cross on your forehead)
From all our enemies deliver us, (make a cross on your lips)

O Lord our God (make a cross over your heart).

(Now make the traditional Sign of the Cross.)
In the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.”

MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE

“Mary Most Holy, Queen of Peace,
Banish all fear from the hearts of Your children. Amen.”

JESUS, WE TRUST IN YOU.

WALKING THE WALK

We realize that Sunday Mass at the Mission requires more effort than attending Mass at your parish. That's why we refer to it as a Sunday Morning Pilgrimage. It can begin at home when you are trying to figure what you need to bring with you: chair, sunscreen or parka, kneeling pad, water,... etc.  Then you arrive here and park, and now you have a bit of a hike ahead of  you.  PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: We only have a few golf carts and drivers.  Use of the golf carts should be for those for whom the walk to the Teocalli is difficult or impossible: those with physical challenges,  some seniors, some young families.   For those of you for whom the effort is not too taxing, thank you for walking to the Teocalli.

Our Triduum Retreat is FULL and registration is CLOSED. However, everyone is welcome to participate in any or all of the Holy Week services.

Just So You Know...

The Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament has been re-opened and made available to those who are making a Walk with Jesus and Mary, or to anyone who wants to stop in between the hours of 9AM-4PM, Tuesday through Friday. We have added pages of readings and prayers to our pilgrimage booklet for this special prayer station.  While the Eucharist is not exposed for adoration, Jesus is Present in the Tabernacle.

Why Faith in Jesus Matters

“…He who does not believe is condemned already.” (John 3:18) These words of Jesus are shocking in our society of so many different beliefs.  How can we understand them?
