The photo above was taken at last year's Christmas Eve Mass in lovely St. Joseph Chapel. What a difference a year makes! But as our small flock gathers together tonight on Tepeyac Hill for Mass, we will celebrate the same miracle of His Eucharistic Presence here among us. And we can all be grateful that, wherever we are spending Christmas, we are all children of a Father Who loves us so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, so that we might be saved and live with Him forever. It can be hard to comprehend a Love like that. We of the Mission of Divine Mercy are also grateful to God for all of our friends, near and far, old and new, who have gone through this year with us. May we continue together into this coming year, united with one another in the Mercy of the Trinity. And to our Bethany Association members, please know that once again, you will be our special intentions during our Christmas Novena of Masses that begins tonight and concludes with New Year's Day. As Mother Magdalene likes to say, " We will place each of you and your intentions in the Chalice that Fr. John Mary offers to the Father." This has been a hard year, with no clear end to the difficulties in sight. But we are the very fortunate children of the All Powerful God, who loves us beyond comprehension. Hold on to His Hand, do not let go, and pray "Jesus, I trust in You." Our Prayers for Blessings on you during these Holy days. The Mission of Divine Mercy | |
