Good Triumphing Over Evil |
|
"The blessing of the priest is a great means by which good is made to triumph over evil, love over hatred, and mercy over judgement." The Lord told me to bless, to bless much, not to be afraid of giving people my blessing, and even to offer them my blessing. By the priestly blessing, the treasures of merciful goodness enclosed in Jesus' heart are poured into the souls and about the persons of those who are blessed by the hands of the priest. "As waters flow from the mountains down into the valleys, so, too, do God's graces flow into humble souls.”(#55) Divine Mercy In My Soul The Diary of St. Faustina |

| "Going with the flow" is not usually the Mission's way of doing things. But in this case, we feel it is the wiser course. We are currently working to re-establish an old creek bed that we filled in years ago to enlarge our playing fields for the St. Michael Squadron. It seemed like a good idea at the time. But as they say, " You can't fool Mother Nature," because she will have her way. Every time it rained, the waters would come down off the hill and wash out the entry road. So we have finally bowed to the inevitable, opened up the stream bed and built a swale across the road, to let nature take its course. |

PUBLIC MASS ON WEDNESDAYS The public is invited to join with us for Holy Mass every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Chapel. (Please note the change in Mass time and remember that the Chapel is not air conditioned. There are fans, but it will still be warm!) We hope to eventually offer daily Mass on additional weekdays, but for the moment it will just be on Wednesdays. |
