My Mercy Is Here For You

MY MERCY IS HERE FOR YOU

"This Feast emerged from the very depths of My mercy, and it is confirmed in the vast depths of My tender mercies. Every soul believing and trusting in My mercy will obtain it." (420)
The Words of Jesus to St. Faustina

On Divine Mercy Sunday,
Jesus’ Promise wants to descend into each heart
that BELIEVES HIM, TRUSTS HIM, and is ABANDONED TO HIS MERCY.
On that great day, He wishes to come to each of His children,
to bless us, to strengthen us, to receive our love,
and to pour the Waters of His Mercy over us
so that we may be cleansed completely.

Christ’s Mercy gushes forth from the Wound in His Sacred Heart—
the incessant Spring of His Love.
Never ceasing.  Ever flowing.

He says,
“Come beloved children and bathe yourselves in My Waters.
Come and drink.  Come and rest.
My Mercy is here for you.”

And we respond,
"Jesus, we trust in You."

A NETWORK OF TRUST TESTIMONY

So, what happens when you say it over, and over and over....

When I experienced my reversion, the biggest obstacle by far was my lack of trust in Our Lord. I desired to profess a sincere faith, while taking care of my own business as I thought fit & keeping the control of it to myself. Once in Confession, the priest told me to say: "Jesus, I trust in You," over & over & over & over again throughout the day, 250 times or more if necessary. He promised that over time, it would seep into my mind, heart, & soul, & Our Lord would make it true. And so it was... I recited/prayed it when the kids were out late & I was worried, when I couldn't sleep for thinking about work, finances, health, family, society, the world, what have you, & it was very soon effective in gaining for me that much-needed rest.  When I got into a difficult spot while driving,  or in dialogue w/ a co-worker, or anywhere, anytime, under any conditions..... --& today I can & will shout it out from the rooftops that I am a different self because of this simple, direct, repetitive practice, a different person, living a different life in Him, Whom I trust. Praise God!~Monica

DAY EIGHT

SOULS DETAINED IN

PURGATORY

"Today bring to Me the souls who are detained in Purgatory
and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy.

Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames.

All these souls are greatly loved by Me.

They are making retribution to My justice.

It is in your power to bring them relief.

Draw all the indulgences from the

treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf.

Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer,

you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit

and pay off their debt to My justice."

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy;

so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart

the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You,

and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice.

May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart

put out the flames of Purgatory,

that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory,

who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus.

I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son,

and by all the bitterness with which His Most Sacred Soul was flooded:

manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny.

Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus,

Your dearly beloved Son;
for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion.

Amen.

Now continue with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

EASTER SUNDAY VIGIL HOMILY

EASTER: Evil Confronted and Defeated

The celebration of Easter is not a temporary flight from reality. It is part of the Paschal Mystery where Jesus exposes evil and confronts it. And He emerges victorious, to show us the way.
