NO Mass Saturday, March 18

We DO expect to have Mass Sunday, March 19, followed by monthly fellowship in OCC.
Father will not hear Confession or attend the fellowship.

( If Mass has to be canceled, we will send out an email alert by 5 pm Saturday. Info would also appear on our website and on My Parish app.)

Father John Mary tested negative for Covid. He is experiencing a persistent cough, fever, chills and fatigue, symptoms shared by other people in our area.
He appreciates all the prayers that have been offered for him.
Please keep them coming.

Blessings on this Feast Day of St. Patrick

When Offered to Him, All Becomes Useful

Offer God
Everything

Offer everything to God.
Offer Him the slights, the snubs, the discouragement, sadness, fear, pain,

EVERYTHING.
HE MAKES ALL USEFUL, WHEN IT IS OFFERED TO HIM.

He does not need you to be perfect ( that He will do).
He does need you to be completely HIS.

Each day that passes is one more day that you can entrust to God.
By entrusting it to Him, He can make it useful for His Plan for you,
regardless of what is accomplished humanly.

Know that whatever is necessary for His Plan,
WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED,
regardless of the obstacles.

Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of Mary

Dear St. Joseph. His feast is celebrated on March 19, but since it falls on a Sunday this year, it has been moved to the 20th.  We so appreciate and depend on his loving protection.

Prayer for St. Joseph's Protection

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so prompt, so strong,
before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.
Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession,
and obtain for me from your Divine Son
all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power,
I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.

Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you with Jesus asleep in your arms;
I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart.
Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and
ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.

St. Joseph, patron of departing souls - pray for me.
Amen.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Thank you! ~Kelly
