The Feast of the Holy Archangels was  September 29th.
The Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels is October 2nd.

THOSE ANGELS AGAIN

Angels are spirits.  They are real.
They are powerful warriors because of power granted to them by God.

The Catechism says"... the whole life of the Church benefits from the mysterious and powerful help of the Angels." (334)
"...serving the accomplishment of the Divine Plan." (332)

"From infancy to death human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. Beside each believer stands an Angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life."(336)

Here at the Mission we have always had a strong devotion to the Angels.  We sense their presence, their protection and their assistance. And if you have been to the Mass  here you know that at the end of Mass, after reciting the St. Michael Prayer, we add “Holy Angels of God, help this Mission.”

You can make this prayer your own:
"Holy Angels of God, help me in my mission."

After all, you have been given an unique mission by God
and you have been assigned an Angel to guide, help
and protect you in your life and particular mission.

Remember, your Angel's help is ever present to you.
He never leaves your side, assisting you in all things
and warding off the ceaseless attacks of the enemy.
And the more you call on your Angel,
the more you will sense his presence and help in carrying out your mission.

"Holy Angels of God, help us and help our missions."
Jesus, we trust in YOU.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Dear Lord, I cling to you and your son Jesus for guidance and understanding. When I am weary and lost, it is the power of your love and strength that leads me from the sadness of this world and my own life, that I Trust in you Jesus, to make me see that there is no life without you. You are the life, the blood and body of my soul and there is no life of love with out you. Jesus, I trust in you, always. ~Lisa

What Is Beyond?

Man has always wondered what is beyond this life.  Anything?  Only Jesus can give us this vision of the eternal, beyond the limits of what we can see on earth.
