According to His Plan for You
Is the Door
Open or Closed?

When you give to God everything that is His due as your God and Father,

will He not care for you in everything?

Trust, and do not fear.
If God opens a door, go in and go through it.
If God closes a door, continue in peace.

Trust that, if you are seeking His Will,
God will give you the necessary Light, according to your responsibilities,
so that you can make the decisions that you are faced with,
according to His Plan.

Do not be anguished.
When you work TOGETHER with Him,
God will give you the needed help.

HOOORAY!

At first glance this photo may not look like much, but nevertheless it is very significant for us, because it marks the beginning of the ground clearing for the Sisters' convent. And as God, not MDM, arranged it, the work began on Wednesday, Sept. 14, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

Your Prayers

Susannah's son is in the process of being transferred to a neuro rehabilitation facility. Given the severity of his injuries, and the days when he hovered between life and death, this is very good news.  But it also marks the beginning of a very long recovery process, the outcome of which is still uncertain. The family continues to be very appreciative of your prayers. Susannah says that they have already worked miracles.

HOLY SOUL MEMORIALS

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Dear Lord, I cling to you and your son Jesus for guidance and understanding. When I am weary and lost, it is the power of your love and strength that leads me from the sadness of this world and my own life, that I Trust in you Jesus, to make me see that there is no life without you. You are the life, the blood and body of my soul and there is no life of love with out you. Jesus, I trust in you, always. ~Lisa

Freedom and Responsibility

Today’s parable of the Prodigal Son often comes to my mind when speaking with parents who have rebellious children, who, for instance, no longer want to attend Mass. What light does this parable shed on these difficult situations?
