Remember, Sunday Mass is at 10 AM.

Please pray for the women who are making this weekend's Encounter With Jesus retreat.

(Our first Encounter in two and a half years!)

During these Dark, Confusing Times
Your Faith
Provides Light

Blessing with the Relic of the True Cross

For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7).

During periods when you only perceive obscurity and confusion, and yet—

You follow Jesus.
You listen to Jesus.
You believe Jesus.
  You adore Jesus.

--You probably will not realize it, but
your Faith in Jesus becomes a TESTIMONY before the world.
And how much LIGHT this brings to the world
and to souls that live in the obscurity of sin and negation.

LIGHT that saves.
LIGHT that illuminates.
LIGHT that consoles.
LIGHT that heals.

Your simple Faith in Jesus has an impact on those around you
that you may not perceive, but is nevertheless REAL,
and very needed by our world.

JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU.

Your Continued Prayers Appreciated

Susannah's son was able to give her a smile and a shakey thumbs-up. These were great signs to the family that Jared was "still in there." But each day is a battle, much like one step forward, then two steps back.  The family continues to express deep gratitude for your prayers, which are helping all of them during this difficult time.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Walking blindly, trusting Our Lord to order my steps on a new path. I will cling to Jesus holding my hand leading me to a new Jerusalem. I will focus my eyes on Him instead of the unknown. Jesus I trust in you.~ Jill

This prayer changes my whole life and helps me find peace. When I leave the care of all my things to God, everything will be better for me. Then, when I abandon myself to Him, everything will be resolved calmly according to His designs. JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU. ~Gabriela

Dearest Jesus, I humbly pray Jesus I Trust in you with faith and love in you. You have always listened to my prayers, you have healed our hearts and our body and we are so grateful to you for your love to us. Jesus I Trust in you. Amen. ~Clara
