God's Hidden Army
Vs.
The Enemy

EASTER VIGIL MASS 2022

 A Multitude of Co-workers

Infinitely Powerful; Infinitely Fruitful

The enemy, the prince of this world, is very proud of his plans for the contamination of the world and the destruction of souls. So proud that He is blind to God’s Hidden Army. God’s Hidden Army is His multitude of co-workers.

You are one of God’s co-workers when you try to be faithful to His Son, Jesus. You are soldier in His Hidden Army when you try to help Him save the souls of your brothers and sisters who are enveloped in the spirit of despair.

When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane on that dark, dark night, He fought for each of us. He tasted the bitterness of desolation, fear and despair so that we might be spared it. So that the pain of His children might not be in vain.

You can go into the Garden with Jesus, to help Him.  To fight with Him.  Fighting with the only weapons capable of destroying darkness and despair: FAITH, HUMILITY AND OBEDIENCE.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit may ask us to experience  the pain, the anxiety, the lacks of trust, and faith of others.  Taking these sufferings and failings into yourself.  Then offering them to Jesus.  In this way you are covering or neutralizing them with your trust, your faith, your love.  This can be very painful. But infinitely powerful and infinitely fruitful in defeating the enemy’s plans.

God blesses His co-workers, His Hidden Army with all His Love.

Mission Closed for the Entire Month of July

The Mission is closed the entire month of July to provide our religious community with a sabbatical month in their 20th anniversary year. This means that there will be no public Masses at the Mission in July, instead of the usual two weeks. We are sorry for those who will be disappointed or inconvenienced by this, but the Community believes that this sabbatical month will provide a needed break  to fortify them for the long haul.

The Mission office will be open during regular office hours so that work projects may continue.  However, the Mission grounds will be closed so that Dave and his crew can proceed with special annual maintenance operations.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

  • The "peace beyond understanding" through trusting Jesus is real. ~Jill
