The Mission and Mission offices will be closed Monday, May 30 in recognition of
 Memorial Day.

Step by Step

Even the Tiniest Step
IS a Step

Creating a Solid Foundation, One Action at a Time

Faith. Humility. Obedience.

These three acts are ways in which Jesus forms us.

Each time you make an act of Faith, of humility, of obedience, you lay the foundation for the next and greater act of Faith, Humility, and Obedience.

Step by step.

Do not be discouraged, the tiniest step IS a step, and is a step closer to Him.

Let your trust in Him be boundless, fearless.

Jesus, I trust in You.

We Pray for God's Mercy on Uvalde

We pray for the souls of the victims and their families. We pray for  the school and all the citizens of Uvalde. We pray for the first responders and all the law enforcement officials who dealt with the aftermath. We pray for the soul of the young man who took their lives and for his family.

Eternal God in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy Itself. Amen

SUMMER SCHEDULE

Sunday Mass will move to 9 AM beginning in June
to avoid the  worst of the summer heat.

 Crosses Created from Mission Trees

Wooden crosses made from various downed Mission trees are available in our Sacramental Shop.  The crosses are made by Bill Wylie who created, among several works of art, the large outdoor Rosary at the Mission.  The crosses have been blessed by Fr. John Mary, and are approximately 6" x 3.5" . They are available for a suggested donation of $10.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

  • Praying and more prayer needed to combat the rapid moral deterioration in Austin's public schools and libraries as seen in extreme sex ed being taught and drag queens being invited in to groom our children in our elementary schools and libraries. "Jesus, we trust in you!" ~Becky
  •
  • The peace beyond understanding through trusting Jesus is real. ~Jill

A Gentle Reminder of Appropriate Dress for Mass

We know that our Chapel can be warm--okay, hot-- in the summer but we ask you to please respect our request for appropriate attire when you attend Mass here. Out of respect for the Eucharist, and each other, we ask that you don't wear shorts; sleeveless tops;  or tight, revealing clothing that is cut up to here and down to there. And if you are bringing a friend or family member for the first time, it is a kindness to mention this in advance.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
We think Jesus appreciates it too.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!

Thank you for considering a donation in support of the Mission of Divine Mercy.  The Mission has no regular source of income, and we receive no diocesan funding.  Every bit of support comes from people like you; people whom God introduces to the Mission.  We try to steward your money wisely and make each dollar work hard for Him and for His people.
