You Possess Powerful Weapons

Fight For Them!

FIGHT FOR THEM!

So many of us know colleagues, friends and family members who are on the brink of despair.  Fight for them!  You can do this by surrounding them with your Faith, your trust and your abandonment to God.

FAITH.

HUMILITY.

OBEDIENCE.

These are powerful weapons capable of destroying darkness and despair.

In the measure in which you let God form you, your Faith will become your invincible shield and sword. This Faith will be your courage and strength. And it will be a powerful weapon in helping those on the brink of despair.

SUMMER SCHEDULE

Sunday Mass will move to 9 AM beginning in June
to avoid the  worst of the summer heat.

A Gentle Reminder of Appropriate Dress for Mass

We know that our Chapel can be warm--okay, hot-- in the summer but we ask you to please respect our request for appropriate attire when you attend Mass here. Out of respect for the Eucharist, and each other, we ask that you don't wear shorts; sleeveless tops;  or tight, revealing clothing that is cut up to here and down to there. And if you are bringing a friend or family member for the first time, it is a kindness to mention this in advance.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
We think Jesus appreciates it too.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy
for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Prayers for J. L . for conversion and strength to fight his depression, drugs.  Prayer that he comes back a godly man from prison. Amen~Anonymous

I'm a Divine Mercy missionary handing out Divine Mercy chaplet prayer cards on the streets and in stores,...the Holy Spirit sent me off in 2018, to Divine Mercy witness back & forth across country 3 times, I'm still traveling and handing out the prayer cards for Divine Mercy chaplets for Jesus. I've had Mormons try to convert me, and I converted them with the chaplet prayer cards. Praise God alleluia! That in all things, God may be glorified+~Louis

I want to pray “Jesus, I trust in you” so that I conform my will to His so that I enter into a deeper union with God. ~Rosemary

Memorial Bricks Are Set in Stone--
Sort of...

Up to this point Dave Sommers has tried to accommodate all requests from people who have asked that their family memorials be grouped together, even when they are ordered and put in place months apart. We understand the desire to have loved ones next to each other. But as the number of memorials grow, this becomes a more difficult task, and one that can offend another person when their memorial is moved to make way for someone else. Also, lifting and moving bricks comes with the risk of chipping an edge or corner. So from now on, the memorials must be laid as they come, and please don't ask for them to be moved. Only memorials that are ordered at the same time can be specified to be laid next to each other.
Thank you for your understanding.

The Beasts of the Apocalypse – Part 2

The Book of Revelation alerts us to the strategies and attacks of the evil one today.  But above all it gives us hope that God is leading history to His ultimate, eternal victory.
