This coming Sunday is Palm Sunday.  We will gather at the tomb before Mass for the blessing of the palms.

First His Mercy
Then His Justice

Way of the Cross,  2021

Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them." (Jesus to St. Faustina.#848)

According to the revelations in St. Faustina’s Diary,
we are in the Time of Mercy, which is passing,
but must reach its culmination before it ushers in the Time of Justice.

Who can imagine what that culmination will be?
We do know that our God will not be outdone in Mercy.

We are wounded creatures in a very wounded world.
But as plentiful as our wounds are,
so infinitely more is God’s mercy to heal them.
And as dead as some souls are,
so infinitely more is God’s mercy to bring them back to life.

Only by trusting in God’s Mercy,
Only by having a TRUE LIVING FAITH in Him
can we bridge the times of Mercy and Justice
that will lead us into the times of the great renewal.

"… Speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just Judge." (Our Blessed Mother to St. Faustina. #635)

"Even if I were to hear the most terrifying things about God’s justice, I would not fear Him at all, because I have come to know Him well. God is love, and His Spirit is peace." (St. Faustina #589)

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD,
FOR HIS MERCY IS EVERLASTING.(Ps 136)

PREPARING THE MISSION FOR HOLY WEEK

Preparations for Holy Week are not just in the spiritual realm.
Raul is dedicated to making sure that every inch of the Mission is ready for Holy Week.

Fresh mulch around the Chapel.

Shade providing tent moved and stained.

...With A Little Help from Our Friends

A team of students from St. John Paul II High School, led by Principal Andrew Iliff, spent a day at the Mission spreading soil and mulch around the OCC and its terraces, repairing several years worth of erosion. A few other familiar faces can be found among the students.

According to Steve Magdich, "The students accomplished in a day what would have taken us a month to get done."  Thanks JPII!!
