Please pray for the men making this weekend's
Cor Jesu retreat.
They are before the Eucharistic Face of Jesus,
begging His Mercy on our wounded world.

CONFUSION VS. CLARITY

Battle Cry!

Our Soul when we allow fear to dominate

Our Soul when we seek to trust in God

There is so much agitation, confusion, and chaos  in our world right now. It is stirred up by Satan as a means of separating us from God.

You may be experiencing this within yourself – SO MANY voices telling you what to think, what to do, how to feel, how to act. SO MANY things mixed up - an apparent good mixed with evil, and vice versa. Making it nearly impossible for us to hear God, to discern His Truth and choose rightly to do His Will.

The enemy uses FEAR to stir up and maintain this agitation in our souls.

This is why ACTS of FAITH and TRUST are of absolute necessity in order to see clearly and justly.

TRUST quiets the soul down, letting things settle into their proper places, so that we can discern between what is of God and what is caused by Satan. Think of this like muddy water that is allowed to settle in a glass. As the mud settles to the bottom, it leaves clear water above it.

"JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU."

Make this prayer your battle cry!

Such that whatever you see, whatever you hear, these words shall come forth from your heart as the great battle cry that destroys the works and seductions of the enemy. Because this cry strikes great fear and consternation in the ranks of the enemy.

You may be praying this prayer already—but it must grow in you until it is a deafening roar!

    "JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU!"

TRIDUUM RETREAT 2022

It isn't too soon to start  thinking about and registering for this year's Triduum Retreat.  Participate in the profound services of Holy Week, beginning with the Mass of the Eucharist on Holy Thursday evening, then spend an hour with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.  On Good Friday accompany Him on the  Walking Way of the Cross and Service of the Passion.  Spend Holy Saturday  morning consoling the Blessed Mother during the Rosary of the Sorrowful Mother.  And on Easter Sunday leave the darkness of the Tomb for the glory of the Resurrection at the Easter Vigil.

All of these Holy Week services are open to the public.  Triduum retreatants are encouraged to enter into and live the Paschal Mystery in a more profound way while spending quiet time on the grounds of the Mission.

Brown Scapular Investiture

This Saturday and every First Saturday of the month we will have a simple Rite of Investiture with the Brown Scapular after our 8 AM Mass for all those interested. Please bring your own Scapular or you may purchase one at our Sacramental building, which is open whenever the Mission grounds are open.

"Mission Control... we have asphalt."

Marcus Ethridge reviews site preparations prior to putting down the asphalt.

Appreciating the new smooth arrival.

Who knew that getting asphalt would feel like such a big deal? But it does when it is the culmination of many years of putting up with dust, mud, puddles  and treacherous footing for anyone whose mobility is compromised by uneven ground. The asphalt was laid after extensive grading work to redirect water away from St. Joseph Chapel.
A golf cart driver commented on how much quieter the asphalt is to drive on compared to the noise of the previous surface.  "I don't get the same dirty look from Peter when I am dropping off late arrivals after Mass has started."

When They Won’t Listen

Sometimes we feel helpless, dealing with someone we love but who is making bad decisions and won’t listen. Like the Prodigal Son.
Here are 5 things we can do.

Our Sacramentals are located

in the Old Camp House,

 adjacent to the Shed.

Blessed Oil, Blessed Salt, Blessed Candles
and Holy Water

Each month Father blesses another allotment of Sacramentals for your use.
