Entering the Mist and Fog
The Final Mystery

As the hour of a person's passing from this life into eternal life draws closer,
the person often enters a Mystery as one enters mist and fog;
some things recede while others become more and more important or immediate.
The heart and mind are pulled in two directions
 and one experiences a multitude of emotions and uncertainties.

This is the human experience  which often hides or shrouds  the experience of the soul.

The world may see someone who appears weak, useless, ineffective;
someone who has lost their mind, their way.

But  to the eyes of Jesus,
a faithful soul approaching death must appear very differently:
Clasped to His Heart.
Pierced by the same thorns, the same nails that pierced Him,
their blood and tears mixing with their cries
that rise up to the Father to obtain Mercy and forgiveness.

Jesus sees light and love pulsating,
radiating out of  each heartbeat of that faithful soul---
making that soul more and more beautiful in His sight,
in the sight of the Angels,

in the sight of all of Paradise.

Remembering Your Loved One at the Shrine of the Holy Souls

Over the years people have asked us for a way to memorialize their loved one out here at the Mission.  We asked God to show us an appropriate means and we believe that He inspired us with an approach that would allow people to not just acknowledge their loved ones and support the Mission, but help remind and encourage all visitors to the Mission of our sacred obligation to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

If you would like to learn more about purchasing a Memorial brick for someone you love and wish to remember in prayer, please use the link below:

When We Feel Unworthy

So much in our world is corrupted by sin.  And we also are contaminated by sin.  But our sense of unworthiness, far from excluding us, prepares us for our mission.

Our Sacramentals are located

in the Old Camp House,

 adjacent to the Shed.

Blessed Oil, Blessed Salt, Blessed Candles
and Holy Water

Each month Father blesses another allotment of Sacramentals for your use.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!

Thank you for considering  a donation in support of the Mission of Divine Mercy. The Mission has no regular source of income, and we receive no diocesan funding.  Every bit of support comes from people like you; people whom God introduces to the Mission.  We try to steward your money wisely and make each dollar work hard for Him and for His people.
