Let not your heart be troubled, You believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1) "A troubled heart is always an indication of one's lack of trust in Me. Trouble, interior disquiet, comes from wanting to control and manage the things that are better left to My Father's providence. At every moment, I provide you with occasions to trust Me and to abandon to Me the things that you would prefer to see other than they are. Whenever you come up against something that contradicts your plans or fails to meet your expectations, give that thing, that situation, that disappointment to Me. Entrust it to My Heart, and then relinquish all worry over it." (March 3, 2016) In Sinu Jesu When Heart Speaks to Heart The Journal of a Priest at Prayer |

Prayers for the Beating Hearts We give thanks for all who worked so hard to craft and pass the Texas Heartbeat legislation. We pray for their physical and spiritual protection from all evil. We pray especially for all the children whose lives will be saved. May they be granted to grow up in a loving family. And we pray for all the women and men, the mothers and fathers of these children in the womb, who currently may feel frightened and angry. May the Holy Spirit help them and may they come to experience deep gratitude that the child they procreated was permitted to live. |

A CHANGE IN PLANS Our Latest Fall Schedule “If you want to make God laugh, just tell Him your plans.” Whether God is laughing, we don’t know, but we have had to change our recently announced Fall plans due to the continued uncertainty caused by the corona virus. Now, instead of the Encounter With Jesus and Saturday Morning Retreats, we will offer four Saturday Morning Reflections: two in English and two in Spanish. This is not the Fall schedule that we had planned and hoped for. Humanly, it seems rather simple and poor compared to our original plan. But we trust God to fill these mornings with His riches for you. NEW SCHEDULE Saturday, Oct.2 –“Introduction to St. Faustina” –Br. Mikael Saturday, Nov. 13 - “Introducion a Santa Faustina”(Sp.)– Sr. Amapola Saturday, Dec. 4 - "On Marian Consecration" - Mother Magdalene Saturday, Dec. 11 - "Consagración Mariana"(Sp.) - Sr. Amapola 8:00 AM - Mass Approx. 15 minute break between Mass and Talk 9:30 AM- Talk Mission will remain open for an hour after conclusion of talk for personal time and prayer.
