Change in Sunday Mass Time and Location

With Me You Can Do All Things

Preparing for Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday

I heard these words spoken distinctly and forcefully within my soul,
"You will prepare the world for My final coming."

These words moved me deeply, and although I pretended  not to hear them,

I understood them very well and had no doubt about them.

Once, being tired out from this battle of love with God,

and making constant excuses on the grounds

that I was unable to carry out this task,
I wanted to leave the chapel, but some force held me back and I found myself powerless.
Then I heard these words,

"You intend to leave the chapel
but you shall not get away from Me, for I am everywhere.
You cannot do anything of yourself, but with Me you can do all things."

St. Faustina recalls the words of Jesus

On Sunday, May 9th

We will return to St. Joseph Chapel, Mass  will begin at 9:00 AM.

We are making this change because:

  • Recent directives from the Archdiocese have decreased the social distance requirements from six feet to three feet.
  • The earlier start time, the shade and the ceiling fans will lessen the effects of the approaching summer heat.
  • Because of the half walls, people who still wish to sit outside, can do so and still hear and see the Mass.

Fewer Lost Souls at the Mission

...Well that may be an exaggeration, but we at least hope that our  directions will be clearer. We are in the process of naming our roads and putting up road signs at the Mission. Now instead of saying,  "Follow the line of barbed wire fence, go down past the old dumpster site and turn right after the place where the road washed out..." we can say " Follow  Junipero Serra until you reach Jacinta."

Fr. John Mary's Homily from Sunday, April 25

THE ONLY SAVIOR

Peter is facing powerful forces that are trying to destroy Jesus and His Church.  So are we today.  Peter boldly proclaims Jesus, “ There is salvation in no one else.”  There is a solution to the worst problems of our world.  There is only one:  Jesus.
